The conference will be held at the Kerzner Unit of the prestigious School of Tourism and Hospitality (STH) at the University of Johannesburg. The STH boasts state-of-the-art conferencing, banqueting, function and restaurant facilities in the Kerzner Building on the Bunting Road Campus of the University of Johannesburg.

Their graduates are known for their skills, competencies and attributes that allow them to excel in the tourism and hospitality industry, which is one of the most dramatic growth industries in South Africa and world-wide. The STH has 25 Research Associates from 19 universities, globally. These research associates are based at various universities in Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates, Botswana, Mauritius and Zambia as well as local South African affiliates associated with responsible and sustainable tourism practices. It continues to build its network of international and local partnerships through the appointment of Senior Research Associates.
They continue to make a substantial research contribution to the Faculty of Management, and is a significant contributor to research outputs in the Faculty of Management.
